There are reunion shows, and then there is Oasis coming home to Manchester.
This one was a dream for me since I was 12 years old. And somehow, it happened. My crew and I flew to Manchester for Oasis Live ’25 at Heaton Park on July 16, 2025, and it was truly the experience of a lifetime. Total bucket list moment. 10/10 recommend.
Oasis at Heaton Park was never going to feel like just another show. It had all the weight, noise, and history you would expect from one of the biggest British bands of the last 30 years. It felt like a city-wide exhale, the kind of night where every chorus already belonged to the crowd before the band even hit it.
This gallery captures that strange mix of scale and intimacy that Oasis still manages to pull off. Liam Gallagher stood exactly where people wanted him, all swagger and stillness, while Noel Gallagher carried the songs with the calm confidence of someone who knows they have already been carved into people’s lives. Alongside them, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Joey Waronker helped give the Live ’25 reunion its shape: familiar, loud, emotional, and built for a field full of voices.
The Heaton Park setlist was loaded from the start, opening with “Fuckin’ in the Bushes” from tape before rolling into “Hello,” “Acquiesce,” “Morning Glory,” “Some Might Say,” “Bring It On Down,” “Cigarettes & Alcohol,” “Fade Away,” “Supersonic,” “Roll With It,” “Talk Tonight,” “Half the World Away,” “Little by Little,” “D’You Know What I Mean?,” “Stand by Me,” “Cast No Shadow,” “Slide Away,” “Whatever,” “Live Forever,” and “Rock ’n’ Roll Star.”
The encore went straight for the communal nerve centre: “The Masterplan,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Wonderwall,” and “Champagne Supernova.” At Heaton Park, those songs did not feel preserved in amber. They felt alive, loud, messy, and passed from one generation to the next in real time.
